Dallas Contemporary.
A series of Summer Events for Dallas Contemporary to grow engagement of young adults in the visual arts. Pop up events consisting of on site art installations , dance parties and retail intermingled with the regular program of the institution. The goal of presenting art as a viable option to young adults from all walks of life was highly successful and felt like a natural extension of DC’s curriculum.
The panic Room @SXSW.
The Panic Room was an official pop-up retail/music space during Austin’s famous South By Southwest music and film festival. Conceived as a quiet getaway tucked within the hustle and bustle of the festival; offering shopping, refreshments and workspace for the media. The storefront promoted local and international artists and models by day, and a secret chill space during the nights. On one of the final evenings of it’s week long stay, a private party was hosted for VIP attendees.
One of the best parts of what I do is working with other artists and designers. The range of duties involved with managing another artist’s work was challenging and highly rewarding. A lot of my strengths and discipline come from this era of my work, and I am incredibly grateful for those experiences and how they help me reach others.
